Five Star Award 2012! The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place recently received a 5-star rating from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The 5-star Quality Rating System rates nursing facilities from a low of one star to a high of five stars based on health inspection surveys, staffing information, and quality of care measurements. Nursing homes with 5 stars are considered to have quality much above average and nursing homes with 1 star are considered to have quality much below average. The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place successfully passed the Ohio Department of Health's annual survey inspection with zero deficiencies in regulatory compliance. The statewide average for nursing home deficiencies in regulatory compliance is seven, and the Academy awards facilities with three or fewer.
